Watergates sp - Radial Gates

These are ususally used on larger applications.  They have pivot points above water level and the bearing can be replaced without the need for external suuport such as a crane.  Usually they are made from Marine Grade Aluminium and operated via a cable drum winch assembly.

Applications:
Maintenance of water elevations in canals ans spillways.
Increased storage capacity for reservoirs.
Diversion of water for irrigation.
Flow control preserving wide clear waterways.
Other areas requiring economical water control.

Radial Gates provide a relativley lightweight, economical soloution that can be operated with a minimum of effort.  Gates can also be special-ordered for existing locations.
