Singer RPS Control Valves

The primary function of the pressure relief valve is either pressure relief or pressure sustaining, depending on its application.

This valve can be combined with many additional functions and accessories.

Model 106 RPS Pressure Relief Valve:
The valve opens quickly to relieve excess pressure when the inlet pressure exceeds a pre-determined (adjustable) amount and closes slowly (adjustable) to minimize surging.

Model 106 RPS Pressure Sustaining Valve:
The valve is installed in-line. It ensures that the supply (inlet) pressure equals or exceeds a pre-determined (adjustable) pilot setting and closes slowly (adjustable) to minimize surging.

Model 106 RPS L&H Surge Anticipating Relief Valve:
The valve automatically opens to dissipate the excess energy of a surge. The valve remains closed, drip tight, when the system pressure is within the normal operating range. The valve opens quickly to relieve high pressures and opens under pressure to anticipate the return of a surge wave.

Model 106 RPS-D Pressure Differential Sustaining Valve:
The valve is installed in-line. It automatically opens when the pressure differential across the valve exceeds the pilot setting. When open, the valve modulates to limit the flow through the valve in order to maintain the desired pressure differential.

Model 106 RPS-RR Surge Anticipating Relief on Rise of Pressure Valve:
The valve automatically opens to dissipate the excess energy of a surge. The valve remains closed, drip tight, when the system pressure is within the normal operating range. The valve opens quickly in response to an abnormal rate of rise in system pressure, indicative of an approaching surge wave.

106 -DL Dynamic Lifter - Sewage Pressure Relief Valve:
The Singer model DL sewage pressure relief valve is a direct acting spring-loaded relief valve. The valve is adjusted to open when the pressure exceeds the set point (approximately 110% of the normal operating pressure). The valve closes drip tight when pressure falls below the set point.
